BoyarMiller Represents Acteon Group in Successful Subsidiary Divestiture

HOUSTON (January 22, 2025) – BoyarMiller, a Houston-based business, real estate, and litigation law firm, announced its role as legal counsel to Acteon Group in the successful buy-out of its wholly owned subsidiary, Deepwater Corrosion Services Inc. (“Deepwater”).

The recent acquisition was backed by an undisclosed investment group. BoyarMiller’s team, involved attorneys Gary Miller, Taylor Gaver, John Ransom, and Rebecca Bombard, who provided comprehensive legal counsel throughout the deal process.

Deepwater, founded in 1986, is a full-service provider of offshore corrosion control solutions and a market leader in cathodic protection and corrosion investigation, inspection, and testing services across the oil and gas, renewable, and marine industries. The company has developed numerous methods and technologies for controlling corrosion on virtually any type of offshore asset, from platforms and pipelines to FPSOs and wind farms.
