BoyarMiller Represents Welcome Group in Securing $200.6 Million Credit Facility

HOUSTON (August 11, 2019) – BoyarMiller provided legal counsel to Houston-based Welcome Group, a single-tenant industrial owner and development firm, in obtaining a $200.6 million credit facility through Global Atlantic Financial Group for a portfolio of 18 single-tenant industrial properties in Texas. Welcome Group owns more than 85 industrial buildings in Texas, comprising about 4,000,000 leasable square feet.
The funding, arranged through JLL Capital Markets, increases Welcome Group’s leverage and enables the company to gain 100 percent ownership in the properties. The Class A portfolio is fully leased and totals 1.7 million square feet of single-tenant industrial/office/laboratory space in Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio.
Welcome Wilson Jr., President and CEO of Welcome Group, and Ralph Fite, Director of Finance, represented their firm in the seven-year credit facility.
The BoyarMiller team included: co-founding Shareholder Bill Boyar, Senior Associate Cyrus Chin and Associate Alex Parker.
