BoyarMiller Launches Podcast About Texas Business Innovation and Leadership

HOUSTON (June 28, 2021) — “Building Texas Business” is a new podcast created by BoyarMiller, a business, litigation, and probate law firm, that features the visions and insights from some of Texas’ notable business leaders.

“We hope to inspire and inform listeners with stories about corporate innovation and entrepreneurship from business leaders who share their real-world experiences and challenges,” said BoyarMiller Chairman Chris Hanslik. “There are so many exciting stories about businesses in the Lone Star state — each with its own distinct way to advance goals, take advantage of new opportunities, and attain their visions despite the many hurdles and stumbling blocks along the way.”

The interview-style podcast features Hanslik and his guests discussing the latest business trends, sharing the challenges faced in building their businesses, and citing the innovative solutions to resolve them.

The first episode of “Building Texas Business” features restaurateur, author, and native Houstonian Johnny Carrabba. From his childhood days in his parent’s grocery store to the evolution of the Carrabba Family of Restaurants, Carrabba’s story of entrepreneurship has a message applicable to all businesses.

Episode 2 features Bethany Andell, president of Savage Brands, and her passion to help businesses uncover their purpose as a foundation to craft compelling branding and communications. Andell talks about engaging employees and aligning experiences to drive organizational change and successful business outcomes.

In episode 3, personal trainer and performance coach Brent Gallagher, president and co-founder of Avenu Fitness & Lifestyle, discusses the path to better health and fitness and the business he started in 2006 to make fitness goals more attainable.
