BoyarMiller Client Sale-Side Deals Named Finalists in ACG Houston Deal of the Year Awards

HOUSTON (April 7, 2022) – Three of BoyarMiller’s client company sale transactions in 2021 have been named by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) as finalists for the Fifth Annual Deal of the Year Awards, which celebrate Houston’s booming middle-market deal community.

ACG recognizes the deals and dealmakers who are driving middle-market growth in Houston resulting in capital formation, more jobs, and the advancement of meaningful business relationships.

BoyarMiller’s three transactions that are award finalists are:

• The acquisition of Lion Industrial Resources by Seneca Trails Capital handled by Shareholder Steve Kesten and Senior Associate Travis Johnson representing Lion;
• The acquisition of Vryhof by Delmar Systems with Shareholders Gary Miller and Lyndsay Fincher, and Senior Associate Taylor Gaver representing Delmar; and
• The acquisition of Front Line Power Construction LLC by Orbital Energy Group, Inc. Shareholder Larry Wilson and Senior Associate Taylor Gaver represented Front Line.

The ACG Houston Deal of the Year Award finalists were ranked by an independent panel of top business leaders. The nomination criteria included transaction value range, industry focus and type of transaction, as well as anecdotal commentary on what makes the deal unique as far as its impact on the Houston business community. Judges evaluated deals based on the parties’ submissions as well as the overall story, economic and strategic impact, stakeholder value, and professional expertise.

The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 19, at River Oaks Country Club.
