Whitney Brieck Receives Certification in Appellate Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization

HOUSTON (Jan. 18, 2023) – BoyarMiller Shareholder Whitney Brieck has received Board Certification in Appellate law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. There are only 395 board-certified appellate attorneys in Texas.
Board certification is a voluntary designation program certifying Texas attorneys in 25 specific areas of law. Board certified attorneys must be licensed for at least five years, devote a required percentage of practice to a specialty area for at least three years, attend continuing education seminars, pass an evaluation by fellow lawyers and judges, and pass a six-hour written examination.
Brieck joined BoyarMiller’s Litigation Group in 2015 and focuses her practice on civil appellate law, complex commercial litigation, and commercial contract disputes. She has been recognized for her skill and professionalism by Texas Super Lawyers, and listed among Ones to Watch by U.S. News & World Report – Best Lawyers, and listed among top lawyers by Houstonia Magazine.
