HOUSTON, TX (May 15, 2024) – BoyarMiller represented Leslie Doggett, owner of Doggett Industries, in the acquisition of a 6.3-acre site in the Galleria area located at 1750 Post Oak Boulevard, a key advancement for Houston’s real estate landscape. Doggett acquired the parcel in collaboration with longtime friends, John Goff of Crescent Real Estate and Doug Schnitzer of Senterra LLC, through their recently formed joint venture, 1750 Post Oak Partners. Notably located by The Annie Café & Bar, Post Oak Plaza, two Hanover high-rise developments, and BLVD Place, which boasts tenants such as Whole Foods, North Italia, and Frost Bank.

This desirable real estate was purchased from Apache Corporation, who owned the undeveloped land for more than a decade. Prior to that, this parcel was the site of the Pavilion on Post Oak with Saks Fifth Avenue as the anchor tenant, until acquired, along with surrounding parcels, by Wulfe & Co. and the late Ed Wulfe when developing BLVD Place.

The development is envisioned to include office space, retail areas, hotel and other hospitality facilities, multifamily units, and luxury condominiums. Groundbreaking for this high-end mixed-use development is intended to commence in 2025.

Tiffany Melchers, Shareholder in BoyarMiller’s Real Estate and Corporate M&A Groups, and Claire Fernandez Bahney, Of Counsel in the Real Estate Group, represented the Doggett family, a longtime client, in the transaction.

“It was a privilege to represent the Doggetts in this remarkable acquisition. This project not only reflects the vibrant growth of Uptown Houston but also underscores the commitment of the Doggett family and their prominent partners to fostering premier real estate developments,” Melchers said. “The joint venture between well-suited partners represents a shared vision for legacy and excellence in urban development.”
