Chris Hanslik Elected to South Texas College of Law Houston Board of Directors

HOUSTON (April 11, 2017) – Chris Hanslik, chairman of BoyarMiller, has been elected to the Board of Directors of South Texas College of Law Houston. He is a 1995 graduate of the law school and has served previously as a member of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association.

“South Texas College of Law Houston is one of the best law schools in the country and I am honored to join the board of directors,” said Hanslik. “The school has consistently ranked among the nation’s top 10 colleges for trial advocacy and its moot court program. I am proud to help enhance the school’s national reputation and serve in a capacity to support its academic mission.”

Donald J. Guter, president and dean of the law school, commented on Hanslik’s board election. “Faculty, staff, and administrators of South Texas College of Law Houston are delighted with the appointment of alumnus Chris Hanslik ’95 to our board of directors. His extensive experience in commercial and business litigation, coupled with his service to South Texas and the community, make him an ideal leader to help shepherd the law school as we approach our 100th anniversary. Hanslik will serve a three-year board term.
