Whitney Brieck Elected BoyarMiller Shareholder

HOUSTON (Jan. 2, 2020) – BoyarMiller is pleased to announce that Whitney Brieck has been elected a shareholder of the firm effective January 1. An accomplished civil trial and appellate lawyer, Brieck joined the firm’s Litigation Group in 2015 as an associate, and was named a senior associate in 2018.
“Over the years, Whitney has proven herself invaluable in developing and executing smart litigation strategy and guiding our clients successfully through the litigation process,” said BoyarMiller Chairman Chris Hanslik. “We are proud to have her join us as a shareholder. I know she will continue to make significant contributions to our firm, and work diligently to ensure our clients’ litigation efforts align with their business needs.”
Brieck’s multi-faceted practice involves clients in the financial, commercial leasing, healthcare, and energy industries, in both state and federal court and in international arbitration.
She has been named to the Texas Super Lawyers list of Rising Stars since 2017. She is a member of the Fellows of the State Bar of Texas, and was named by Houstonia Magazine as a 2019 “Top Lawyer in Houston” in the area of Appellate law.
Brieck is also a founding member of a networking group called “5 to 9: A Women’s Initiative” to empower and promote exceptional women professionals in the business communities served by BoyarMiller.
She is graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and a member of the Houston Bar Association’s Litigation and Appellate Sections.
