What inspired you to pursue a career in law?
From a very young age, I was encouraged by family members to pursue a career in law. Despite initial hesitation, I ultimately decided to follow their advice and a pursue a career as a lawyer.
What Practice areas do you practice in, and what aspects of it do you find most interesting?
I have always practiced in Corporate M&A. I enjoy the challenge of finding suitable solutions for a wide variety of industries.
Can you share a memorable experience that has shaped your career?
I closed a deal that the entire family was invested in. I realized that the work I was doing was going to have a significant impact on their life. Once the deal closed, I received a personal follow up from the founder of the company that I had just closed the deal with. He emphasized the positive impact that I had made for not only him but for their family. Those kinds of calls are what keep me motivated to do the best work.
Tell us something people might not know about you.
Most people know me as an athlete, but what they do not know is that I was a concert violinist from a young age through High School.
What is a favorite book, podcast, movie, or restaurant you have enjoyed lately?
My favorite book would have to be the Wisdom of Psychopaths by Kevin Dutton. Favorite movie is Cloud Atlas, and favorite restaurant has to be Pappas Steakhouse.
